Senior Global Market Research Manager

The Global Market Analysis (GMA) department within Lundbeck A/S is looking for a talented, engaging, and action-oriented Senior Global Market Research Manager to work in the Global Market Research team. With several recent Lundbeck product launches, as well as promising late-stage pipeline, this role has the enviable position of being able to directly impact the future of several exciting products.

Your job and key responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Head of Global Market Research, you will be a trusted partner to the global disease teams translating key learning needs and objectives into well-defined market research plans and insightful, objectively executed market research activities. The disease team covers the entire portfolio of brands and projects in various stages within the given therapeutic area.
You will be an expert resource to the global organization on current primary research methodologies, with a focus on depth of insight to help uncover deep, emotional drivers of physician, consumer, caregiver, and/or payer behaviors. You will collaborate with colleagues in Global Marketing (Global Market Analysis, Disease Teams, Global Pricing and Market Access, Global Customer Interaction Management) and the broader commercial organization to enable deep market and customer understanding that drives commercial decision-making.
The Senior Global Market Research Manageris responsible for developing and implementing all aspects associated with individual market research projects in support of one key disease area and in addition you will be part of a highly motivated, performance driven Global Market Analysis team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and managing qualitative and quantitative studies and working with multiple primary market research approaches to ensure that objectives are covered to achieve needed results in order to provide strategic recommendations to key stakeholders(assigned disease team)
  • Developing market research plans / budgets in support of brand strategy and tactics within the assigned therapeutic category
  • Management of all phases in the global market research process, from identification of information need (pre-commissioning), to research design, sampling strategy, data collection & data analysis plan, to final delivery in collaboration with agencies, as well as providing key learnings and recommendations aligned to business objectives
  • Communication & presentation of relevant and actionable global market research insights
  • Provide market research to forecast, long term planning and life cycle product opportunities
  • Generate insights from global market research results to relevant stakeholders by creating  overviews/slide kits that are continuously updated
  • Manage key internal (Global Disease teams, Global Pricing and Market Access, Medical Affairs) and external (alliance partners) stakeholders

Lundbeck is seeking candidates whose specific qualifications include:

  • Master of science/business with 5-8 years’ experience in market research 
  • Extensive experience in project management
  • Extensive experience with qualitative and quantitative methodology and with delivering effective solutions and recommendations to disease/brand teams, whether in an external (consultancy, agency) or an internal (market research, in-line marketing) role
  • Excellent communication skills as you will interact with and present to disease teams and key affiliates.
  • In the same vein you are good at stakeholder management 
  • Other relevant pharma experience a plus (e.g. market access, brand management, business development, commercial operations) as well as international experience
    • As a person, you are enthusiastic, good at building relations across functions, great at driving projects, independent problem solver, strong team player and flexible  
    • Fluent in English
  • Ability to accommodate up to 10% travel
