Accounting to Reporting Manager


PURPOSE OF ROLE:

The main purpose of the role is to assure the delivery of Accounting to Reporting processes.

A2R Manager plays an essential role in developing a strategy for A2R organization to meet long term goals of our company.

In his role in Group Business Services Cracow Management, A2R Manager drives effective and stimulating cooperation across various teams, processes, systems and functions.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:

  • Acts as a trusted business partner to Group Finance Senior VP, Finance Directors, Managing Directors, GBS Management, external service providers and other senior stakeholders,

  • Participates in creating and executing on GBS strategy and owns ultimate responsibility for GBS Cracow budget,

  • Stimulates cooperation across GBS and Lines of Business and drives the achievement of the overall goals,

  • Ensures appropriate quality of reporting and compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements in assigned AUs,

  • Accountable for design and effectiveness of internal controls,

  • Manages performance and development of the assigned team (including recruitment, monitoring performance levels, motivation and individual development),

  • Accountable for long term resource planning in A2R,

  • Monitors external benchmarking results and action on process improvement,

  • Works together with the Process Excellence Manager and HR Manager to develop methods and skill set within GBS team to ensure excellent service provision,

  • Delivers financial information analysis to other members of GBS Cracow team to enhance decision making process,

  • Promotes company culture and values, coordinates delivery of internal communication.

 

REQUIRED CAPABILITIES:

PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCES:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in A2R position:

- including at least five years in managing 50+ team,

- previous managerial role in Audit considered an asset.

  • Sound knowledge of International Accounting Standards and Taxation

  • Technology: SAP, BW/BI, MS Office,

  • Languages: English,

  • Accounting qualification preferred (ACCA, ACA, CPA, CIMA, CIA).

  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities, excellent interpersonal and business partnering skills,

  • Taking ownership of assigned responsibilities,

  • Willing and able to engage stakeholders with different priorities and objectives,

  • Ability to effectively manage, lead, and instill trust cross-functional teams,

  • Experience in effectively communicating key data, including presentations to management,

  • Ability and desire to translate complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels including finance and non-finance managers,

  • Mature attitude towards challenges and problem solving - being able to work with limited guidance to resolve more complex issues and manage pressure effectively,

  • Willing to work in a dynamic environment with switching priorities.
