National Marketing Director/Manager


Our Position

Lundbeck Australia is currently seeking a National Marketing Director/Manager - Australia & New Zealand (seniority depending on experience).  This role reports directly to the Managing Director, and is part of the Management Team.

If successful, you will be responsible for managing the marketing team and directing all of Lundbeck Australia's marketing activities to ensure comprehensive marketing strategies and brand plans are in place for new and existing products.  Lundbeck is in a high growth with launch phase brands, so core strength in launching brands is essential.

Skills and Experience

  • Strong record of successfully motivating teams as a manager.
  • Must have experience in pharmaceutical marketing (min 5 years) at the Senior Brand Manager or Marketing Manager level.
  • Experience as a sales representative, ideally within the specialist setting.
  • Experience managing product growth and LCM strategies, while launch phase experience is essential.
  • Experience from specialised disease states is preferred (neuroscience).
  • Tertiary qualifications in science, business or marketing preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of annual marketing plans, including the development of marketing objectives, strategies and promotional programs and ensure their timely and accurate execution.
  • Generate and evaluate new product ideas and suggestions, investigate marketing opportunities and estimate their efforts on markers for existing and new products.
  • Champion internal communication and training activities for assigned products.
  • Prioritise and support the development of your team.
  • Select and direct management personnel.
  • Ensure all business activities comply with regulatory requirements (Medicines Australia Code of Conduct), legal demands and ethical standards.
  • Develop and maintain ethical strategic business relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and other key customer in individual product fields.
  • Work as part of the management team and work with other internal stakeholders including; Sales, Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, Human Resources and Finance.
